The institute dates back to 2013, established under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Pavly and Father Moussa Mounir, with the assistance of the St. Timothy Center for Biblical Studies of the Youth Diocese. It was named after St. Mark the Apostle, the Evangelist of Egypt. We began accepting our first class in 2014, and they graduated in 2019 under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II.

It focuses on creating a daily loving relationship between children and the Bible (for grades 3-6 elementary).
A systematic 5-year study that includes history, geography, personalities, and doctrine.
For graduates and servants, it aims to produce specialized teachers, and to study using the credit hour system (in the future).
